Frequently asked questions

How much does the ISEE cost?

Calculating your ISEE through Inkaf is free of charge.

Who can file the Modello 730?

Employees and pensioners who have a withholding agent able to carry out the tax adjustment.

How do I book an appointment?

You can get in touch through the Contact page to arrange an appointment at our office or remotely.

Are the prices shown on the site final?

The prices shown are indicative. For particularly complex cases, such as some legal consultations, the actual cost is set after assessing your specific situation.

Can I request more than one service in the same appointment?

Yes, several applications can be handled in the same appointment provided the necessary documentation is available.

What happens if I am missing a required document?

Your adviser will tell you which documents are missing and how to obtain them; in many cases the application can be completed at a later date.

How long is the ISEE valid for?

The ISEE remains valid from the date it is issued until 31 December of the same year. For some benefits it is worth renewing it as early in the year as possible, rather than waiting for the previous certificate to expire.

By when must I renew my ISEE so I don't lose the Assegno Unico?

To keep receiving the Assegno Unico at the correct amount, INPS normally requires the ISEE to be renewed by the end of February; after that date the benefit is paid at the minimum rate until it is updated. If the ISEE is nonetheless submitted by 30 June, the arrears accrued since March can still be granted.

What is the deadline for filing the Modello 730?

The Modello 730, whether pre-filled or filed through a CAF, must be submitted by 30 September of the reference year. The exact interim calendar dates (for those who hand in their documents early) are set each year by the Agenzia delle Entrate.

How long does NASpI last and how is the amount calculated?

NASpI is paid for a number of weeks equal to half the weeks of contributions over the last 4 years, up to a maximum of 24 months. From the sixth month of payment (the eighth for those over 55) the amount is gradually reduced each month (décalage). The monthly cap is updated periodically by INPS.

How long after my job ends do I have to apply for NASpI?

The application must be submitted within 68 days of the end of the employment relationship: after this deadline the entitlement to the benefit is lost.

By when must I apply to renew my residence permit?

The application should ideally be submitted to the Questura at least 60 days before expiry. It can still be submitted within 60 days after expiry, but it is best not to wait, to avoid complications with work, travel or other related procedures.

What is the risk if my residence permit expires before it is renewed?

If the renewal application has already been submitted within 60 days of expiry, an expired permit does not in itself carry immediate consequences. If that deadline passes without an application, you risk an expulsion order instead — which is why it is important to act in good time.
