  • Anyone who needs an ISEE to access university, healthcare or social care services
  • Anyone who needs to renew an expired ISEE

Required documents

  • Identity document and tax code of the applicant

Frequently asked questions

How long is the ISEE valid for?

The ISEE certificate is valid for one year, from the date it is filed until 31 December of the same year.

What is the difference between the ordinary and current ISEE?

The current ISEE (ISEE corrente) lets you update your financial position where it has changed significantly compared with the ordinary ISEE — for example after a job loss.

How much does the ISEE cost?

Calculating your ISEE through Inkaf is free of charge.

How long is the ISEE valid for?

The ISEE remains valid from the date it is issued until 31 December of the same year. For some benefits it is worth renewing it as early in the year as possible, rather than waiting for the previous certificate to expire.

By when must I renew my ISEE so I don't lose the Assegno Unico?

To keep receiving the Assegno Unico at the correct amount, INPS normally requires the ISEE to be renewed by the end of February; after that date the benefit is paid at the minimum rate until it is updated. If the ISEE is nonetheless submitted by 30 June, the arrears accrued since March can still be granted.
